Someone messaged me on OK Cupid, saying he knew I wasn't looking for long-distance pen pals but just wanted to say I sounded cool. Seeing that he was in Pittsburgh and about my age, I asked him if he was by any chance attending CMU. Indeed he was. It just figures.

(I suspect only some of my friends will know what I mean by that. Shit, I'm being cryptic about something that isn't even private. In my defense, it's almost an inside joke.)

I knew somebody who knew the fight song once... I found that disturbing, adn that was even *at* CMU :-)

I don't think anyone at my high school knew our fight song. Everyone knew the Alma Mater (sung at every frickin event), but I don't know if the fight song was ever sung. Then again, maybe it was sung at sporting events and I just never heard it 'cause I never went to any. Here at Cal we seem to have half a dozen fight songs, and I only know bits and pieces of 'em and have no idea which ones are more "official" than others.
