New toy

I have a Palm now. It is shiny. It has buttons on it. I cannot stop pressing them.

*gleeful, manic grin*

Okay, it ain't quiiiiiiiite that bad, but I have spent the entire evening copying over the contents of my pen-and-paper address book and calendar, along with anything else I can think of. I think I've HotSynced the sucker a good ten times already.

For the record: myriah is teh rox0r. For this and several other reasons.

Hmmm. I miiiiiiiiiight. I've never liked the idea of reading books off a leetle screen, but it suddenly occurs to me that it would beat lugging around thousand-page paperbacks to read while waiting for BART, on evenings when I'm not carrying anything else and thus can't justify a backpack. What kinda books ya got?

Lots of stuff. Some tech books, a lot of scifi and fantasy, maybe a bit of pr0n... All the Discworld books but the last two, and I can prob'ly get those tomorrow.

I burnt it all to a CD, which I just need to locate. (I put it away - now I just need to remember where 'away' is. Argh.) I'll email you a list in the next couple days, once I find and sort it out a bit.
