Another unfortunate name

The executive director of the Cal Alumni Association, or so it would appear from this postcard I have lately received, is named...Randy Parent.

I really hope he doesn't actually have kids. I can just imagine the PTA meetings.

Speaking of said postcard, I'm rather ticked off that I have to actively request not to be spammed by my fine institution!

As am I, though what really ticks me off is that they think they're entitled to claim to be "committed to your privacy and comfort" just because they so graciously give us the option to actively request not to be spammed.

Mr. Dick Lichty, San Luis Obispo county. He was involved with the school system somehow too, maybe as a gym teacher.

High school kids tend to have trouble with anything sounding something like "dick lick". Dick had a thing against being called "Richard".
