After months of Fridays....

altfriday5:
1. Which gender do you generally present yourself as (man, woman, androgynous, etc.)? Female, though not terribly feminine.
2. Have you ever deliberately done "drag" (i.e., presented yourself as a gender you do not identify as)? If yes, how often? Why? How did it make you feel and act differently? Nope. Would like to, but I've never been confident that I could pull it off.
3. Do you get mistaken for another gender "remotely" (i.e., in letters, email, or on the phone)? How often? Why or why not? Used to happen on the phone a lot, because I have a pretty low-pitched voice. Not sure if it's happened in a while, though--no one's told me if it has. Oddly enough, a few folks lately have mistaken me for a guy over email despite my first name (the one I use at work) being quite definitely feminine.
4. Do you get mistaken for another gender in person? How often? Why or why not? Don't recall that I ever have. I wear my hair long and have a pretty feminine bone structure, and my boobs are juuuust large enough that they can't help but be noticeable if I'm not deliberately trying to hide them.
5. If you could take one aspect of another gender's presentation (dress, makeup, hair, etc.) and instantly make it widely socially accpetable for your gender, what would it be? Probably body language. If the genders were reversed, I'd rank that second after clothing.
