V: Jeez, I thought that couldn't possibly have been it.
Sai: What, don't you know me better than that by now?
V: I just figured I must've misheard.
Sai: You underestimate my capacity for silliness.
V: You underestimate my capacity for mishearing.

Seriously, I think my creative mishearings are an offshoot of my capacity for silliness. It's not as though I didn't believe he would say something like that, but I figured any particular silly thing I thought I heard him say could just as easily be a figment of my twisted imagination as his.

2 strange things. Firstly, I just a moment ago, posted something about vegetarianism, and you, in an off sort of way, did also.

Secondly, my clock says it's 11:52. However, Livejournal says you posted your post at 11:59.

I'm not sure what LJ's clock is based on. Also, my computer clock is fast. And that's about the third such synchronicity I've seen on my friends page in the last week; though I've forgotten what the others were exactly, they were both cases of two immediately adjacent entries mentioning the same general topic in completely different contexts.

LJ's clock is based on the time you start your entry, not when you actually post it. And entries show up on your friends page in order of the time a post is made, not the numerical representation thereof. This can make the numbers look insane and out of order if you mix time zones. *wanders back off to her own friends page*

Exactly so. Example: In that old song "What I Am" by Edie Brickell and The New Behemians, she says "religion is a light in a fog" (which I found out later) but I always thought she was saying, "religion is a lie and a fall" and I loved that line. ha
