As some of you know, I've been looking for entry-level tech writing work for a while now, and so far haven't had much luck finding any. My medium-term financial situation is starting to get a bit desperate; if I don't find a permanent job within the next month, I am going to have to leave the Bay Area completely for an indefinite number of months, unless I miraculously discover a place around here where I can crash rent-free for a while.

So I need help. If you know of or find out about any available entry-level tech writing jobs, please pass them along; if you don't know whether your company is hiring but are willing to forward my resume to whoever might be willing to take a look at it, let me know and I'll send it to you.

(Actually, an educational writing job would be even better--right now I'm freelancing for a textbook publisher, and loving it--so if you know of anything like that, I'd be even more happy to hear about it. But tech writing is my second choice, especially if it involves end-user documentation, and I figure that's where my chances of finding any job at all are better.)

Thanks in advance for any assistance y'all can provide.

As in, my current partner? If there were, it seems like this would be a really lousy place to mention it. I mean, everyone I'm dating reads this journal, and so do a zillion of our mutual acquaintances. Sure, I could flock it and filter it only to the people I don't actually know, but then what would be the point of posting it at all?

I dunno, is that just me?
