Another meta-meme post

So I did the interests suggestion meme, and most of the top interests are things like "music" and "reading" which I don't have on my interests list because they're so generic it's pointless to mention them. But number 8 on the list is "Tori Amos."

Boy, am I curious to know why she and no other specific artist made the list.

oh duh, NOW I get it. I misunderstood the meme at first and thought it was just top-listed interests.

oh yeah and, I made you a little birthday message on my journal (but I backdated by five minutes because I was late!) and it didn't show up on your friends page, I don't know why. Anyway, I hope you had fun at The Mint! I would have enjoyed going to that, I love The Mint, but er... well.. Ruby and such.

Oh, that's weird. I wonder why. I wonder if it has anything to do with backdating. I guess that's naive.

I don't think it does; at least, I think the posts weren't backdated the other time.

But she inspires a cult-like following among her fans - I've seen people with denim jackets with Tori painted on the back, for example. So I'm not really surprised that she shows up on lists like that while others don't.
