Blurting [potential TMI]

I feel I must set this down as evidence both of my vastly improved living situation (as compared to last year) and of my growing lack of shame:

This evening I rousted my roommate out of the bathroom with the words "Yo, [my date and I] need to pee so we can fuck!"

Yay, increased freedom of expression....

[identity profile] saizai.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I was going to mention that. You've grown significantly more ... open over time.

Yay living with friends?

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

*hands you the 'Blunt as a Butter Knife' award*

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
hmmm, I usually need to pee *after* I fuck. YMMV, apparently.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I usually do too, but I also like to pee beforehand so I don't get distracted by the need to.

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm certainly in favor of peeing whenever you need to and removing as many distractions/impediments to good sex as possible.

I'm glad that you have an improved housemate situation, though I admit that I would have liked it if you could have stayed in the neighborhood.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that would've been nice...but it wouldn't've been worth continuing to live with people who think I'm an unethical slut. (Though it would've been an interesting experiment, given that they seemed to think I was sleeping with everyone I hung out with, to see how long it took them to wonder if that extended to both genders....)

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
(nod)(nod)

My mom knows I'm poly. She knows the names of folks that I hang out with a lot; she and I talk a couple of times a week, and I tend to chat about what I've been up to. While I did correct her misperception of what "getting together with [livejournal.com profile] akienm, [livejournal.com profile] dawnd, and our friends Lisa and Jen" meant, she didn't find me to be being unethical.

(I also find it really not important to put a lot of effort into clarifying *for anyone* (other than partners, who have SSA-related entitlements) who I am or am not sleeping with.)

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
That was what kept me from telling them, though if I'd found a way to just tell them I was poly some of the crap might've been avoided.

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I hadn't told my housemate I was poly before I moved in. I figured it wouldn't matter too much, and really didn't expect to settle into several relationships as soon as I did. Fortunately, it has been a total non-issue with my housemate.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
Same exact thing happened with me, except that it did turn out to be an issue. *sigh*

[identity profile] mactavish.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Sometimes I feel like I need to pee as part of orgasm. It's MUCH nicer if I know that's not the case. Then I can just go for the glow.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
*nod* I get that feeling during g-spot stimulation, although I haven't yet had that lead to an orgasm.

[identity profile] mactavish.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I've heard there's such thing as a g-spot. If I've got one, it's not very interesting.

[identity profile] mactavish.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good for UTI-prevention.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
*nod* One reason I usually do it.

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
and given my recent experience, I am all for UTI prevention.

[identity profile] mactavish.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
We're learning to manage having only one bathroom. It's interesting, but it's okay.

We haven't yet had that specific experience, though. :) (Is it different saying, "We need to pee so we can fuck" to one's boyfriend?)

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Probably. I imagine I'd've been considerably more tactful if it'd been my boyfriend in there. Thing is, Sai in particular is shameless enough about teasing me that the only defense is to be even more shameless. I suppose this is a good thing.

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
would this be your boyfriend who is V's boyfriend, your boyfriend who is V's boyfriend, or, wait, that doesn't clarify anything.

(but I did, at last, get to meet the V-specific boyfriend).

[identity profile] saizai.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
If this = me (Sai), then no. I'm the roommate, which is traditionally (for sanity) an "off-limits" category. ;-)

[identity profile] tenacious-snail.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
I was actually joking about the fact that Mary's boyfriend is also V's boyfriend. But I am glad to know that you're the roommate. (in my case, we've opted that sanity requires not only that I not date my roommate, but that I won't date her brother and she won't date anyone that I'm currently dating).

[identity profile] saizai.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Aah. *nod*

[identity profile] snowy-owlet.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
You rock.

[identity profile] ocicat.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! Bluntness and lack of shame are good things. As is fucking, come to mention it.

[identity profile] marmaladious.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
LOL. I don't believe in TMI, personally.

How long did the roommate take to get out of the bathroom?

[identity profile] saizai.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
1-2 minutes after she asked. I was taking a bath. I like long baths; makes it easier to relax and concentrate on some random reading.

If it doesn't put me to sleep, that is.

[identity profile] marmaladious.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
But when two lustbirds are waiting to pee, it's a little harder to concentrate on random reading, I bet.

[identity profile] saizai.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
*chuckle* Not really, with the hot water and the door closed. ;-)

But I'm polite. Wouldn't want to get in the way of having a sexually-unfrustrated roommate, after all. ;-)

[identity profile] marmaladious.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Well, my roommate is now my girlfriend, so my answer wouldn't be the same as yours. lol

[identity profile] ailurodragon.livejournal.com 2005-02-14 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
My bathtub has a showerhead. It also has a curtain. On those occasions when a housemate is bathing, (her muscles ache a lot, due to a previous car accident) and I really need to use the toilet, she can pull the curtain, continue bath, and I can use the facility. Works pretty well.

YMMV, of course.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-16 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
I think that's one of the few things I still have hangups about.

[identity profile] marmaladious.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
I've gotta add one more comment, and just note the enormous influx of comments to the journal entry which contains the words, "we can fuck!" Sort of a demonstration of the "sex sells" idea.

Just thought I'd mention.

[identity profile] vvvexation.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 07:47 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'd noticed. I shall have to keep this in mind.

[identity profile] akienm.livejournal.com 2005-02-12 07:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yay! I am so glad to hear it!

[identity profile] kaidevis.livejournal.com 2005-02-13 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
*snortchuckle*

No one should ever stand in the way of the call of nature -- especially not when the call of the wild is waiting in line behind it.
