Vainglorious Vicissitudes

The textbook we use here for intermediate algebra is kind of dry, compared to the ones I used in high school. Really, I didn't think the authors had any sense of humor whatsoever--until today.

Today, I came upon a word problem that began "Three kinds of tickets are available for a Prosthetic Forehead concert...."

Okay, so they have a sense of humor. They're just hiding it very well.
